The Chihuahua-based conglomerate Grupo Bafar appears in Expansión magazine’s Ranking of Responsible Companies 2024, positioned in 31st place out of 152 companies, a great example that its work goes beyond its daily operations and is projected in the welfare of thousands of Mexicans and in the progress of our country.
The interest in applying environmental, social and governance criteria in companies is increasing, they are no longer an option, but an indispensable strategy for any organization that wants to remain profitable. This is shown, for example, by the growing number of companies that make up the Responsible Business ranking, which this year celebrates its tenth anniversary.
In the case of Grupo Bafar, they are currently carrying out various actions that have a positive impact through environmental measures and continue to be implemented nationwide: the installation of the Waste Water Treatment Plant, both in the Grupo Bafar Chihuahua Industrial Complex and in the Agrondustrial Complex of La Piedad, Michoacán; the production with natural gas, the installation of solar panels in their facilities, and various circular economy activities, to mention a few.
In the area of social responsibility, the Grupo Bafar Foundation has achieved a great reach with its programs, which benefit thousands of people in Mexico, projecting their benefits and contributing to their well-being through the Socio-Sports Schools, the collection center, the community dining halls and the medical workshops.
